The 11th Tunisian Petroleum Exploration and Production Conference
 

ETAP organized, under the topic “New Hydrocarbon Exploration Targets & Gas Development Challenges”, the 11th Tunisian Petroleum Exploration and
Production Conference in Tunisia from 13th to 18th October , 2008 at the hotel ELMOURADI – Gammarth , Tunis.

The main objectives of this conference were:

• To promote Hydrocarbons sector and draw up a balance sheet in Tunisia;
• To exchange ideas and experiments between the professionals of the sector
• To actualize geological and geophysical information about Tunisia subsurface, gas    objectives, deep targets…
• To improve knowledge in the oil and gas fields.

The Geological field trips:
Two field trips were organized from October 16th to October 18th , 2008:
F1 Field trip : “The Numidian in Northern Tunisia: a challenging gas target”
Leaders : Chokri El Maherssi, Hela Ben Jemia & Houda Belghagi From ETAP.
This Field trip saw the participation of 21 people.
F2 Field trip: “Oil Seeps and Source Rocks in Northern Tunisia”
Leaders : Moncef Saidi, Abdelaziz Meskini (ETAP) and Habib Belayouni (FST)
Les This Field trip saw the participation of 19 people.

The Technical Exhibit
