The main reservoirs in the block are the Campanian - Maastrichtian Abiod fractured chalky limestone and the Ypresian Bou Dabbous limestone which is producing oil southwest of the block( Al Manzah onshore field ).
The Oligocene Fortuna sandstone , the Langhian Ain Grab limestone and the Middle Miocene Nilde limestone constitute secondary objectives in the block.
