Etap's Mission

Exploration

	Promotion of the hydrocarbon sector in Tunisia in order to attract more foreign companies to invest in the exploration activities :currently about 50 permits are under operations, covering about 180 000 Sq Km.
	Management of the national patrimony through the technical support of exploration activities carried out by the operators and via the management of an exploration and production data base: about 900 wells, more than 140,000 seismic tapes, core collections, etc...

Production

	Exploitation of 20 oil and gas concessions in which ETAP is partner. Production is about 90,000 BOPD, and 2,7 MNm3/d  of commercial gas.
	Promotion for the development of marginal fields.
	Optimisation of oil and gas production .

Trading

	Supply of the local market with natural gas and oil products .
	Exports of crude oil produced locally for ETAP and on behalf of the State.

Exploration and production services

Providing ETAP's partners and petroleum companies services with related to exploration and production activities (laboratories, geological studies, seismic processing and reservoir modeling) using high technical equipments and experienced staff.

Human resources

	Training of engineers and  highly skilled staff.
	Association with international industry in order to improve qualification and to ensure technology-transfer.
